Vittaya Ruangrit, PhD is a Member and Fellow of the Thai Urban Planner Association with 26 years of experience in urban planning. As Nakhon Ratchasima and Chiang Mai’s Chief City Planner for seven years, his experiences include community development, public relations, economic development, and environmental planning policies and procedures.
Vittaya is currently the EEC Development Fund Division director in the Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand (EECO).
Dr. Vittaya was honoured to be a speaker with the real estate training center at RE/MAX Thailand to share knowledge and experience regarding one of the most important laws real estate agents should know before deciding to buy land or build a house: the Urban Planning Law. This law dictates what can be done on the land and outlines the restrictions on area usage, acting as a crucial guide for ownership limitations.
